It’s going to be a busy Gen Con. That is the absolute best way I can put it, hah! Hello, hello everyone. Rob here, and well I am going to give you the best rundown I can at what to expect this Gen Con from us. To make it easier, that little button at the top of this article will take you to all of our events outright. So, if you do anything, there is your way to see what you can do with us at the convention.

You’ll find R. Talsorian Games at Booth #249 in the Exhibit Hall, and our game room is ICC-143 if that wasn’t apparent by our little banner above!
At Gen Con, the Starter Set for Shadow Scar will be available physically for purchase! This is the absolute earliest chance to pick up Cody Pondsmith’s brand new game. The box set itself contains everything you need to kick off your own game of Shadow Scar, from pregens to maps to the adventure Mask of the Green Demon. The adventure is a continuation of Eyes in the Darkness, which was available for Free RPG Day and is now on DriveThruRPG for free download. Alright, this one is a given, of course we’ll have the Mission Kit with us at Gen Con! The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is the latest release for Cyberpunk RED, a starter box set and standalone kit all on its own! For new players to Cyberpunk, or veterans, it contains something to appeal to both sides of the coin as it takes you into the aftermath of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime. This year, we’re bringing you 4 different chances to sit down with us at R. Talsorian Games. Some will be familiar, some are brand new to our plans for the convention. I’ll make these brief, as you’ll be able to click straight over to each event as long as you’re logged into the Gen Con website.
Cozy Chat with R. Talsorian: Our yearly sitdown where you as fans get to come in, settle down, and sit face to face with all of us in the team to discuss lines, answer questions, or even just ramble about whatever topic comes to mind! Always a favorite each year, this event usually sells out quick.
Fossilized Violence & R. Talsorian’s 5 X Infinity Imprint: With the first release of our 5 X Infinity line on the horizon, come join James Hutt to discuss what else may be coming in our indie focused publishing line. Discuss everything from what is in store for Fossilized Violence as well as learn how to get your own games published through 5 X Infinity straight from the man himself.
Shadow Scar – A New World: The release of Shadow Scar is now, and our first seminar for our new game is being hosted by Cody Pondsmith himself. Learn about the Veil War, the Shadow Scar Agency itself, and all the inspirations that were woven together to bring this brand new game to all of you!
The Evolution of Cyberpunk: One of our biggest seminars each year, and rarely needs much introduction! Come learn about what’s coming soon for Cyberpunk and also what we’ve just let loose on the world. This covers the whole Cyberpunk timeline, from 2020, Red (2045), Edgerunners, and 2077 itself!
A long time stuck in limbo, the Cyberpunk RED GM Screen (formerly the Data Screen) is now back in stock and can be picked up at Gen Con 2024 in our booth in limited numbers! We got the happy surprise that our stock arrived when it did, and made sure we set up to have some present for those who do not wish to wait for shipping or distributors to get it out to you! Otherwise, normal distribution will kick in and we will have these available soon in our own store here on the website.
Purchases through the website cannot be picked up at Gen Con, if you purchase it through the web store, you must wait for it to ship to you. We will only have a limited number available at Gen Con.
So this is a big one, first thing is first, we have our game room this year in ICC-143 and we are hosting more games than ever before thanks to the team at Double Exposure. We’re talking Witcher, Shadow Scar, Fossilized Violence, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit, Cyberpunk RED, if you are looking for it it’ll be in the list provided in the button below! This year we are doing our best to accommodate people who just peek in and want to know what’s going on, so feel free to come right in and say hello!
