We’ve hinted how busy we’ve been at R. Talsorian Games, and at Gen Con 2024 we let you see just how true that is!

These are just some of the announcements we made at Gen Con, and while we’ve been in recovery mode now since the convention, we couldn’t let these sit quiet any longer. First, we’ll let you get a peek at what happened with Shadow Scar, and then we’ll keep going to Cyberpunk. Sound good? I’m keeping these brief, with bigger details coming in the next week or two. There’s far too much to cover in one single post here, it would not do everything we got coming justice at all. Shadow Scar Starter Set Pre-Release

Shadow Scar’s Starter Set came to us so fresh from the printers, we didn’t even have them shrinkwrapped yet! The entire line’s stock, the whole first printing, was there at Gen Con and the very first time Cody Pondsmith got to see his brand new game in hand was the moment we popped open the crate! With the full stock arriving in our warehouse soon, we’re on the cusp of getting this all out now to everyone!

We were also thrilled at the number of people who came over from our demo room to directly pick up the box set, any time we heard that it was directly from how much fun they had floored all of us!

Expect a big announcement at the start of next week in regards to the Shadow Scar Starter Set, and the full release date which is August 23rd, both digitally and physically!!!

Cyberpunk RED Announcements

While it was not the release day for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit, the impact of the new starter and box set was felt! Not only did we almost sell through our brought stock, but we had every single Cyberpunk RED book sell out other than the Core Rulebook! You’ve all made your love for Cyberpunk RED be known, and we brought a huge list of new releases on the horizon for Cyberpunk as a whole! I’m gonna keep these brief too, but give you juuuust enough to get curious. And yes, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit DLC are still on the horizon, don’t worry. We’ve just been getting back and running after Gen Con!

Tales of the RED: Forlorn Hope – Our next book will be the new Tales of the Red: Forlorn Hope. We bring the famous bar into the Time of the Red and continue the story alongside some very familiar faces as you go through 6 overarching missions that help shape the future of the Forlorn Hope. Expect the release this Fall!

Night City 2045 – Now this has been a fun secret to keep. Yes, the Night City 2045 Setting Book is officially announced and in full production. This will cover districts, points of interest, gangs and corporations, and a full street map of Night City. We have over 15 writers contributing to this project. Want an idea who? You’ll see the likes of N Jolly, Linda Evans, Alison Cybe, Anne Morrison, Fernando Damas, Melissa Wong, Rachel Savicki, Eddy Webb, Tsuneo Tateno, Chris Spivey, Fran Stewart, Steve Kenson, Graeme Barber, Mike MacDonald, Trace Wilson, Crystal Mazur, and more! It’s turning into one of our largest projects we’ve undertaken, and we can’t wait to share more details!

Cyberpunk 2077 – Alongside Night City 2045, we have announced that yes, the Cyberpunk 2077 book is now in official production as well. This book will expand on the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit and fill in what little tastes we gave you in the Kit. If you’ve wondered why something wasn’t in the Kit, it’s because we kept it lean for beginners. Now, we’re bringing you the full course meal. And no, I am not hungry right now, why do you ask?

Interface Red Volume 4 – Our next volume of Interface Red is also now officially announced and well into development, bringing with it the exclusive supplement for multiple, multiple brand new Martial Arts for Cyberpunk RED.

Trauma Deck – The Trauma Deck is a new product we’re bringing to you thanks to our friends over at DriveThruRPG, providing us with a way to distribute it both digitally and Print on Demand. The Trauma Deck is a way to give a variety of critical injuries to your next firefight!

Rusted Chrome – Long rumored, now officially spoken about. Rusted Chrome will cover the loop between Edgerunners and Nomads in the Time of the Red. We’ll be giving you more details the closer we get to the release of this one. But we’re already having a ton of fun with it.

Cyberpunk RED Nexus on Demiplane Announced

A huge announcement we’re happy to bring you, as one final piece to bring it all together, is Cyberpunk RED getting it’s Nexus on Demiplane! Coming this Fall, the RED Nexus will initially be a Compendium of all you need for Cyberpunk RED with Character Creation tools to follow. I don’t want to spoil too much about this, as our friends at Demiplane have a ton to share!
